The second quarter of 2015, power unit utilization dipped slightly, 0.3 points taking into account seasonal adjustments — indications of a weaker freight environment than has been seen historically.
Individually, medium and heavy were both slightly higher, 0.1 and 0.5 points respectively, but the combined seasonal created the quarterly decline. Compared to prior year Q2, both medium and heavy are down significantly similar to the combined total.
